This weekend was pretty packed. I went to Adventure World on Friday, helped Jono move house on Saturday, and went canoeing at Penguin Island on Sunday. In between all this, I managed did a couple of the things on my to-do list…

I started making my dress form, with help from my Lovely Assistant, Steve:

The next step is to stuff it, probably with old phonebooks, seeing as that’s what we’ve got in the house. And the next step after that is make cool clothes! I made it longer than my tshirt so that I got the shape of my hips too, so that I can use it for fitting the skirt I’m in the middle of making…

I also started my compost heap/bin:

I’ve never tried to make compost before - should be an adventure… Tips are welcome
