Last week we had a whole crowd of primary school kids come to uni for outreach activities. I’ve been working on outreach stuff pretty much constantly since mid-August, and haven’t had much time for anything else. There’s no more outreach now till November. I enjoy doing outreach, particularly with the little kids, but I’m really, really glad to get a bit of a break from it after seven solid weeks of work.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean that I get an actual break - I have to start working on all the uni stuff I’ve been ignoring so far… *sigh* But luckily both my units, and their assignments, are pretty interesting, so it shouldn’t be so bad once I get back into it. It’s getting back into it that’s gonna be a pain :p
