It’s 11:05pm of the night before the marking is due, and I have to be at uni and working by 8am, so it needs to be finished tonight. I’m getting near the end, but also slowing down - I’ve got 11.5 lots of Question 5 to go, then adding and data-entry. And I have to get up at 7.
Unfortunately, I’ve just started reading Crazy Aunt Purl from the start. Bit of a mistake… The system used to be that I could read 3 or 4 entries after each 10 papers, but now it’s down to 1 or 2 entries per paper, or possibly half-paper. Whoops.
Oh, and someone’s invented a new word: “quantised”, which I think means “to divide into quantum length pieces”. *sighs*
Anyway, less procrastination, more marking…
PS - will write something about Geraldton as soon as my brain starts working again. Short version: fun, and geeky. Oh, so geeky! It was great :p
Edit (24/09/07 11:22) - Ok, ok, “quantise” is a word. But it’s not a word that has anything to do with process scheduling. Ok? And I’m tired and grumpy, and I’ve just marked a test that said absolutely nothing in a large amount of illegible writing. Gimme a break!
Edit 2 (24/09/07 11:25) - I need to fix the way this theme conflates both ‘bold’ and ‘italic’ into ‘bold and all caps’. I want bold and italic, dammit!
