Today was the first day in three weeks where I did not have some urgent task to do - no outreach work, open day stuff, assessments or more outreach work. I celebrated this occasion by sleeping in till 10:30. It was gooood… And, despite a brief downer between getting the post in and going to Centrelink to get my Youth Allowance back, the rest of the day was good too - I paid my car rego, made a doctor’s appointment, bought supplies for dinner, played some of my favourite computer game, watched an episode of Farscape, cooked dinner, and did almost all of my tax return. By comparison with the last three weeks, this was a nice quiet relaxing day. And I’ve done a whole bunch of stuff that’s been waiting for my life to calm down a bit (like, y’know, reporting to Centrelink :p). My little holiday ends tomorrow, when I get started on my next assessment, due tuesday… *sigh* *shrug*
